Embroiderers' Guild Collection
An historic exhibition of some of the pieces from the embroiderers' guild collection took place in Preston . It was the first time ever pieces from the collection have been exhibited outside London. I took this opportunity to look at examples of darning, signs of wear and garments as part of my research for this project.
